Cliff Mearns

Cliff Mearns

Has been engaged in financial services for most of his career. His professional background commenced with Australia’s largest consumer lender where he gained valuable commercial knowledge of all facets of consumer lending and collection. His varying roles, with the Company over the years also included accounting and investments

He has been engaged in insolvency practice for the past 12 years and is a director of SRMC Limited.

He is a graduate of the IPA Insolvency Education Program.

Geoff Chester

After a variety of careers, including serving in Vietnam, then 19 years in Air Services Australia, firstly as an ATC followed by 9 years in Systems development projects, Geoff founded a software company. During this time Geoff became an active Marriage Councilor and Lay Pastor within different Christian church affiliations as well as a Marriage Celebrant. In 2003 Geoff started Debt Cutter as a debt consultancy business. This was upgraded to a Debt Administration in 2005 when Geoff became a registered Administrator.

The accumulation of years of experience assisting people navigate personal and decision making problems followed by formal assistance through the Debt Agreement process has been a real hands on experience from which to draw on.
